LS50ii wireless update
I have the LS50 W II’s. They are a much higher end design than the Coda. The LS50 W2’s have almost 4 times as much power and the higher end cabinets and drivers of the LS50 Meta. I see the LS50 wireless are now on sale for $1,999.99

LS50 Meta or Wireless II
For a give cabinet and drivers the active speakers give a greater range, more bass and lower cost than the passive version. LS50 Meta with an amp that is in total double the cost of the Kef LS50 II wireless is claimed to be better. Kef themselves claim that they could not make a passive version of t

Passive alternative for LSXII LT?
If you are an iPhone user you can install Google Chromecast and test also uPnP. I have run TuneBlade on my PC hoping for the low latency Airplay 2 gets via Apple 4K TV but no luck. uPnP, DLNA and Chromecasts sound better then Airplay 2. WiSA is even better and the speakers much improved using WiSA t

KEF LS50 disappointment after Q150 — where did the magic go?
Sounds like you might need a different receiver/amp. Just got a pair of the powered LS50 Wireless II’s and I’ve been very impressed with them. The powered units come with 380W each of amplification built in. You may just need more power to be able to drive them.

KEF Q150 + Marantz PM6007 vs KEF LSX ii
Why not LS50 Wireless II? That would be a more distinct upgrade on every level, especially with integrated and optimized amplification and wireless capabilities designed as a system and built that way. The LS50 W IIs have a bunch of inputs, optical, USB-C, AUX and HDMI eARC. Also, each speaker has a

LSX II → LS50 Wireless II upgrade? Better option around $1700 USD / $2400 CAD for music in a 150 sq ft room?
I'm a huge believer in dedicated amp and dsp, so ls50 wireless ii would be my choice at this time. I'd rather have tuneable dsp to integrate between drivers and parametric for each driver, but today at that price point I think the kefs are the best that can be done. I haven't heard dirac but I'm a h

Down sizing options?
Only the ls50 wireless ii. The ls50 meta (or original LS50) require a separate amp. I do also find wireless to be a bit of a misnomer, since you no longer require speaker cabling but now require a power cable plus how ever you choose to feed them (which could be over wifi/bluetooth).

LS50 With Wiim Ultra or LS50 Wireless II
It should be the vice versa actually. There ain't any better amp for ls50, other than the integrated ones in wireless 2. Simply because you can't bi-amp kef ls50 meta, you have to use a single amplifier and rely on the passive crossover. Ls50 W2 is bi-amped with active crossover, hence it has much m

Turntable Purchase Anxiety 😬
I don't believe it's quite so black and white as some suggest. At the lower end of the market, powered speakers are unbeatable in terms of price vs performance. You just can't buy a good stereo amp and a pair of passive speakers new for $150 that's really going to challenge a pair of Edifier R1280T

First time spinning this, and it cuts deeper on vinyl
KEF LS50 Wireless II Powered. I’ve only had them a couple months, but they’ve become my go to speaker in the house (usually Sonos before). Full sound space (even though I have them too close together), huge dynamic range, lots of power, easy setup, nice app. I paired mine with a sub (probably going
