Sadly you're right. I've had similar experience with KEF. Their passive speakers are worth it tho. And for the price the LS50 wireless 2 are actually good. Not the LSX nor the LS60 tho - just same performance as LS50 wireless 2.

kef ls60 is like much inferior compared to how these sound. They are nice - would compare them with the meridian audio active ones - but the tech in this is so cool. uwb to sync is next level stuff. + meridian audio needs a whole bunch of properietary boxes to make it work well. I've had them for 3
