Completed: Three-Band Speaker Setup

Love the imaging of the LS50 Metas, but can’t afford Blade Metas (for that full-range sound), so over the course of a couple of years gradually built a system that could try to simulate them on a lesser budget. Call it a sort of, “poor man’s Blade Metas,” if you will. Was never interested in the LS6

Sound of Kef Reference 1 Meta vs Kev Reference 3 Meta

If the LS60 had nothing but RCA and balanced analog inputs I might consider them, but I don't want to pay for/buy into KEFs wireless platform and DAC if I don't have to. In their current form the LS60 Wireless only offer a single RCA analog input.

Andrew Robinson Beolab 50 Purchase/Review

I don't like the idea of active speakers with proprietary streaming software. There's too much planned obsolescence built into one speaker. Many people are agonizing over the KEF LS60 streaming software for example. I'm not saying that you should get all separate components. But rather get a decent

Article: Legacy Hi-Fi Brands Are Dying Out as a New Class of Audio Brands Takes Over Published on February 10, 2026

Part of the issue is that it’s a shrinking audience not due to its members no longer wanting to purchase gear but because the new gear is often crap compared to cheaper entries from younger companies. For 12+ years every attempt I made at introducing streaming into my system was met with forehead ba

Ls60 AVR

This is what stops me from getting the ls60, though im definitely in the 5.1 camp. Its wireless but cant do 5.1 wirelessly yet. Kef is supposed to be working on something via their xio soundbar that is coming out this year and im waiting to see how that works before moving.

New Speaker Day at Work - Focal Diva Utopia (Powered by Naim)

kef ls60 is like much inferior compared to how these sound. They are nice - would compare them with the meridian audio active ones - but the tech in this is so cool. uwb to sync is next level stuff. + meridian audio needs a whole bunch of properietary boxes to make it work well. I've had them for 3

Are Kef speakers all that good? {LS60}

Try and listen to their passive offerings. You are correct people are divided on the KEF sound deriving alot of the sound out of one front facing driver. The ls60 does incorporate trickle down tech from The Blade 1 and 2 using the side positioned woofers on a much smaller scale. I listened to their

Just bought the LSX II LT for me 2.0 computer speakers, and USB-C connection doesn't work

Return, get other ones. When they work they will continue to work. KEF is classic sound quality. They can't even start their speakers together, it's one after the other. There's many issues with the app. It's usable. Most of the time. KEF LS60 here. Same same. I've gotten them to play radio AND Spot
