There are many 1990s Pioneer, Sony, Rotel, Technics, Dual turntables around and sold locally where you can listen to them before buying. With a new belt and a recent cartridge will give good service and better than the low end budget turntables seen. A pair of powered speakers with built in phono st

5.25" can be good for the room size. 4" may be better to fit on that size desk. I have gone from 5.25" down to 3" speakers on my desk and a 12" subwoofer under my desk. Also powered speakers can be a good options for a desk. Some add USB input for your computer and some have a built in phono preamp

r/battlestations & LG OLED Grab your Black Friday chance to upgrade your setup! [GIVEAWAY] [US]

Hard to say what's my favorite thing about my setup, but I'd probably go with my Kanto YU4 speakers. They've really elevated my whole media experience and have made working at my desk a lot more bearable. I'd probably pick the C5. Watching shows and movies on an OLED would really take it to the next

Newbie setup help

If you go for the powered Kanto Yu4 or Yu6, they have a phono preamp built-in, so you could skip the Fosi. (As long as your TT is positioned close enough to the main speaker to take advantage of the built-in phono, that is.)

Speakers + Amp + Turntable recommendations for £500-750 budget?

I have seen Rega Planar 3 sell for a low cost on eBay but price depends upon the arm and cartridge included. A Rega Planar 3 could be a keeper for decades and not sold tweaking to just a bit better performance. A lot of good amplifier and speaker choice unless you are set on a new set up. There are

I entended on buying the AT-LP3XBT but found out my parents have an unopened (?) Technics SL-QD3, which one would you recommend?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r6d9Sj9-4gs The powered speakers with built in phono would be the simplest I think. But, I'd primarily do it if minimal components was my primary goal. The kanto YU4 fit the bill For me, nothing beats a working vintage turntable since your money is stretched so much fur

Simplified help needed

These are powered and have a phono stage (which you'll need), so all you'd need to do is plug in your new deck and go: https://skybygramophone.com/products/kanto-yu4-powered-speakers
