Am I crazy for preferring these Kanto YU powered bookshelf speakers over my Martin Logan motion 4i's?
I love Kanto. I have a pair of Oras in my office and a pair of TUKs in my bedroom. Awesome speakers.

I love my Kanto speakers too! I recently upgraded my living room from Kanto TUK to Martin Logan XT B100, and honestly I prefer the sound of the TUK. I just wish Kanto made a louder TUK. I have the Kanto yu2 as desktops and those are nice too.

Speaker Recommendation Help - Fluance RT 85 and Schiit Mani 2
Kanto Tuk is worth considering. Build in phono stage, so you won't need the Mani. Easily hooks up to your tv as well. Speakers are powered, and include Bluetooth. They will sound fabulous in your space!

Feeling cute, might delete later
OP is ignoring this so I'll answer. I have Bifrost/Jot2 with LS50 Metas driven by an Vidar. Paired with an SVS SB-2000Pro at my desk. Using a PC as my source running lossless through Roon (massive difference) I am super happy with this setup. I've been through a bunch of setups over the years from A

Is LSX II LT good for modern music?
All kind, pop, 80s, deep house, vocals, spanish mostly. I can also compare them to kanto tuks I used to own a few years back which i sold when i moved. They are also great but to darn bright for near field. Kef Lsx are smoother sounding and compact while providing the same or better sound without th

Monitor for TD17
Monoprice has the MM5R powered speaker pair with ribbon tweeter that sounds utterly fantastic with my Roland drums. About $500 - and I’m a crazy audiophile so definitely critical. There is a similar monitor for a few hundred more (Kanto Tuk) that is supposed to be better but that might be out of you

DAC rabbit hole
I have noticed a difference in changing DACs in different situations. When I first got my Bluesound Node+Kanto TUK setup for my bedroom I was connecting the node to the Kantos using the TOSLink optical (yes yes, I know...) thus using the DAC inside the speakers. Then I decided to connect RCA from th

Desktop speakers advice
Consider the Kanto TUK instead of the Ora. The AMT tweeter is absolutely incredible at resolving details.

I think I'm finally happy with it (for now)
You could mount them on the wall instead. I mounted mine for the first time ever a few months ago and it has saved me so much desk space - I wondered why I waited so long. But yeah, I'm not an audiophile by any means but the Kanto TUKs have been the nicest sounding speakers I've ever owned. They hav
