Tempted to go from Focal shape 65 to Kali IN8V2, please talk me out of it guys
Fwiw, Sony replaced their 5k/ea Genelecs with Kali IN-8V2s in most of their audio post rooms this past year. Apparently the audio leadership couldn’t tell the difference between the Genelecs and the Kalis in a blind test. On a personal angle, I work in 3x Atmos rooms with Genelecs and have a Kali At

Help choosing speakers
I have IN8’s and mix cubes in my studio. Love both of them. I paired my IN8’s with a Kali sub as well which is a game changer. Fantastic setup for the price. That said, you really need to make sure your room is treated. I built my studio and hooked all of my stuff up to hear what it would sound like

What Are Your Go To Headphones for Mixing?
I'd welcome someone calling me a bot, just to have the chance to engage in philosophical debate of what being a bot means. anyways, I'd recently also been trying to find a good pair of headphones for mixing without spending an arm and legs worth of money, and I think I've found that in the Blue Ella

Looking for opinion/further recommendations.
Either you get : passive speakers and a preamp+amplifier, or powered speakers with a preamp Powered speakers are good value for smaller rooms or someone that doesn't listen too loud. If you want to keep it simple, you can get: Kali Audio IN-8 2nd Wave (800€) Wiim Ultra streamer/preamp (400€) Speaker

Help me to choose between Yamaha HS8 vs ADAM T8V vs KRK Rokit 8'' (i play through HX Stomp)
For a monitor that size that you want to be neutral and go low, I’m not sure if you can do better than Kali LP-8 (or IN-8).

Genelec 8030A vs the Kali Audio in 5 for mixing in my room
I have kali in5, was juggling between in8 and genelec. What I like about kali is 3way system and that they actually go down to 36hz - anything below that is just cut. The bass becomes very clean at 39hz so there is almost no rumble below that. They are very flat and so far all my mixses translate gr

Tempted to go from Focal shape 65 to Kali IN8V2, please talk me out of it guys
I love my focals (trio11) and had solos and twins in the past. But i also tried kali in8 in my studio and between shapes and in8 i’d pick in8. Wouldn’t pick them over focal berylliums tho. So for focal, unless you go for the berylliums, go for in8

Advice needed - Eris 8 Pro vs Sceptre 6
I've had the Sceptre S8s for several years. Also recently installed four Eris Pro 6's as Heights, but never got a chance to A-B compare on the desk, alas. Everything you'll glean from a Google AI search re Eris VS Sceptre is pretty much accurate. But I will add this: Tested the Sceptre S8 against th

How to mix your own music.
Look there is no excuse fore my last outburst. I started recording at Progressive Music in Tampa in 1991 I became friends with the Studio owner and we began working together. I learned to mix and master from Ken. This was about the time Digital was taking over for analog. And many people were still

I own about 15 pairs of speakers, I have a pair of Kali LP 8 and the Independences IN -8.
