What studio monitors do you recommend these days?

I've got a pair of original big Eris E8 monitors and they're great for the price but not fantastic for my needs for mixing, and they've been repurposed as wireless streaming speakers attached to a small streaming router. Presonus makes decent monitors for the money but people do tend to outgrow them

Questions to the DJs on this sub

I have a pair of Kali Audio LP-UNF. Amazing studio monitors, type c connection from laptop, it uses the speakers inbuilt DAC, also has TRS connection and Bluetooth. One of my best purchases! 33k, but worth it cause I’m a DJ myself and also learning music production.

Any suggestions on what to improve in my setup?

Hi! Thank you! I wanted to place the interface in the middle, but it has that glossy mirror-like finish, and there's a red LED on the bottom of the monitor, so if I place the interface right below that I will always see the reflection of that light. Plus I constantly plug my guitar and wired headpho

And good active speakers in your budget don’t have digital inputs. E.g. Kali Audio LP-UNF (EAC review) (Thomann listing). Therefore you would also need a DAC with coa

i have been thinking about joining the audiophile lifestyle for some time but..

You might benefit from a pair of active speakers that are relatively good and cheap. Something like Adam D3V, Kali LP-UNF. I'm assuming that this will be something for computer? Those that take signal from PC via USB and require no amplifier purchase, DAC, or any other additional equipment, so this

Speakers for my bedroom

oh nice, what do you mean for a streamer? A WiiM Pro with aesthetic damages, but fully functional. Pluses are: BT feature, but you’ll use Spotify Connect in the end, full quality with your mobile working as a remote on your wi-fi; RoomFit: with your mic’s phone (or a calibrated one attached to it) y
