Home DJ Setup (Ikea)
You don’t NEED a pioneer headset haha I use sennheisers, really lightweight and sturdy. Can take a fan blade at full blast lol. Speakers that are good quality are the kali audio lp8 v2. Good ass bass with no actual subwoofer

Advice on studio monitors for guitar and bass?
I have been using Kali Audio LP8 V1 for the last few years and they are great and come in under the budget. The V2 IN-8 would be an even bigger fuller sound. The front porting is great.

Bought BenQ MA320u 32" 4k monitor for my M1 Mac Mini
Yeah, should also mention the monitor speakers are actually pretty decent too. I use my Mac for some music stuff, so when I want more oomph I turn on my studio monitors (kali audio lp8-v2 connected via a Scarlett 2i2 interface). But for everyday YouTube use, the monitor speakers get the job done.

Speaker recs
i think recommending speakers is really tough, because everybody has way different wants and needs. For me personally....I use my mac as an audio interface for my bass guitar. So, I have a scarlett 2i2 audio interface attached to my Mac. I have a pair of Kali Audio LP8-V2 studio monitors attached to

Monitor speakers for dj'ing and mixing at home
I'll second this. I've been using Kali Audio LP-6 for a few years now and they're solid. Great clarity and plenty of power for in your house. Only thing I would suggest adding if you can is a subwoofer. They also make the LP-8 which is the 8" version if you want to step it up.

Looking for my first Monitors!
The Kali LP6 is an excellent choice, and you're right to go for the V2s. I have LP8 V1s, which I haven't felt the need to replace -- but they fixed a standing noise issue with the V2. Being your first monitors -- you're going to love them at first, and all will be well. But at some point you're like

best studio monitors
I've been using the Kali Audio LP-8 V2 for a while now and am quite content - nice price/performance ratio. Not as loud but a bit cleaner sounding than the KRK's i used. I think the best tip i can give is that once you get to understand your monitors and your room it really doesn't matter that much

Would smaller monitors cause less fatigue in a small room?
Hmm... I don't know that loudness by number, but are you just listening too loud? Could it be the wide range of frequencies, from the subs to the top end air frequencies that just overload your brain after a while? If so, I kind of get that... My monitoring situation isn't high end or anything, but

I have a pair of Kali Audio LP-8 V2s that are 8". They absolutely rule.
