Recs for bookshelf active reference studio monitor?
I use a set of Kali Audio LP6 and love them. Good bass, nice and tight sound, has room correction options.

Can studio monitors still be enjoyable in an untreated room if mixing accuracy isn’t the primary goal? Looking for immersion and fun.
I like the M50’s personally, but the 770s are my second favorite. The bass response in the M50’s goes so low and smooth. The absolute best monitors you can get on a reasonably small budget are the Kali Audio Lp6 monitors. They have a myriad of room and space setting switches on the back of them to d

Opinions on Adam Audio D3V for production/mixing/mastering?
Kali audio LP6 V2 fits your budget, is front ported and will have better translating low end than the D3V, without a doubt.

Home studio monitors + sub - any recommendations
Kali Audio LP6 v2 have been worth their weight. I'm only a beginner tinkering around. Personally, I have no need for a sub with these No Bluetooth unfortunately

Looking for 5 inch monitors for minimal techno production
I would recommend the Kali Audio Lp6’s. Price point is there, they are better than most 5” options short of expensive ones like Adams or Focals. The back of the Lp6 has a TON of adjustability for room shape and sound/bass control. They have front firing bass ports and balance really nicely without h

What studio monitors to buy for small apartment?
I live in a condominium and use a pair of Kali Audio LP6 (uses 6.5" drivers) and they're fantastic. They have room correction settings on the back and are very detailed and handle transients excellently. I have the V1 which has a little self noise, but they can be found used fairly cheep. The V2 wil

Small room / desk against wall — which speakers/monitors should I buy?
kali lp6 are very well rated, i have lp8v1 and besides the hiss, they are great speakers, v2 fixed that problem Yamahas are also nice but sound a bit sharper, more clinical and can become a bit fatiguing after long listening sessions adam audio t5v / t7v i understand are also nice due to the ribbon

Speaker reccomendations
Ayy are you in for a treat upgrading from a guitar amp :D My recommendation is the Kali Audio LP6 V2. If you want to buy from EU, I also like the Focal Alpha Evo 65. Slightly more expensive though. There's bigger and smaller models but to me 6-7 inch is the sweet spot, some bass, not overbaring in u

LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday
You are getting conflicting advice which is probably very irritating haha Ignore the acoustic treatment comment by me earlier, for smaller near field speakers it is not quite so important (although in a dedicated studio room I would always recommend it) and is not practical for you. 4.5" - 6.5" coul

Monitor speakers for dj'ing and mixing at home
I'll second this. I've been using Kali Audio LP-6 for a few years now and they're solid. Great clarity and plenty of power for in your house. Only thing I would suggest adding if you can is a subwoofer. They also make the LP-8 which is the 8" version if you want to step it up.
