For the longest time I had my DJ setup in an apartment and couldn't turn up the volume, so I only had the 5 inch monitors. Bedroom DJ's - do you have a PA Speaker?
I'm up for getting better monitors if that makes sense. My monitors are JBL LSR 2300 and my sub is the JBL LSR310S. The sub has power it's just not bass that you can really feel. My understanding is that this is how studio subwoofers are supposed to behave. Not sure if that's true. Let me know what
