I have the JBL 1300X MK2 in an open concept house with 10 ft ceilings. I got it black Friday and it is absolutely amazing. This system is ridiculous, the base shakes my house and I haven't gotten close to max volume. Movie nights are so much fun. The dialogue is crystal clear and I love the detachab

https://youtu.be/lPXz9X-5LIc?si=ShJr1dw1G3Dpd90i I got the JBL 1300x mk2 2 weeks ago. The dialogue is crystal clear and the bass is amazing. I highly recommend you get it.

Hey, I also had a Q990D, and even with the bass levels set to max and all the sound effects turned on, it was still very underwhelming for music listening. For movies it was OK, especially those with Atmos, however for louder scenes the sub would rattle and make unpleasant sounds. I ended up returni

As OP is a fan of a heavier bass I think the JBL 1300 MK2 is probably the better option for them even though I do agree the Q995F has more clearer audio generally.

I’ve got the JBL Bar 1300 MK2 (Japan version) and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. I came from an old LG SK9Y and the jump in quality is massive. Even though the sub looks kinda small, it’s actually a dual 8-inch with 1200W RMS and you can definitely feel it. It fills the room easily and still keeps

I would avoid Sonos as they are still stuck in software issues since more than 1 year. And they have hardware issues too with the paint flaking from the grids. Anyway it doesn’t support properly DTS which is a no go if you wanna play Blu ray discs except with spexific and more expensive players whic

Thanks for the update! I've been testing this soundbar for the past few days. So far, I like it. I'll be returning the JBL 1300X MK2 this week because I think the dialogue on the Flexus 300 is better. But I still have some issues, especially with HBO. Interesting that you've had a similar experience

Contrary to popular opinion. I just returned my Q990F for a JBL 1300x MK2 Bar. Blows the Q990f out of the water. I had the Q990f for 45 days and tested a bunch of movies and games. While it is certainly a great system. I found the bass lacking. Once I was introduced to the 1300MK2, I didn’t know wha

Check JBL too, I replaced all my Sonos Gear with a Bar 300 and a Bar 1000 and it's quite amazing. The Bar 1000 or 1300 MK2 would be great, probably even the Bar 800 too if you are on a budget. Avoid the Bar 1300 first model, it has a design problem making the center channel not so good. The 1300 MK2
