I have a JBL BAR 1300 MK2 and it’s pretty awesome. The biggest factor which swayed my decision from the Samsung 990F was that the rear surround speakers are completely wireless. This was a huge plus compared to having speakers which required man’s power connection due to my living room layout. They

Be aware that the JBL Bar 1300 MK1 subwoofer might be rated at 300W but in real tests, it can only go up to 100W, so I would never ever expect the subwoofer from MK2 to get to 1200W if that's what they are advertising. Samsung's dual 8 inch driver sub from Q990F is somewhat closer to reality, rated

The JBL bar 1300x mk2. It's an 11.1.4 channel soundbar system. It's loud and clear. 1570 peak watts of power. And one of the best parts of it. The rear speakers can be charged on the sides of the main bar by docking them in. And they are actually wireless. That's what the detachable rear speakers lo

I’ve been looking into the Sonos Arc Ultra, this, and the JBL 1300x MK2. For the Sonos and now this LG, I was planning on using an HDMI switcher as I’m in a similar boat. PS5 Pro, PS3, and PC direct to the TV (G4), Switch OLED and 4K BD player to my old LG SL10YG. This LG is feeling like a Sonos com

Surround performance the JBL 1300x (previous version) did a phenomenal job at enveloping you in the movie with effects and height sounds from all over. Wireless surrounds are ingenious. Super cool and makes a lot of sense in the soundbar world. The subwoofer was good, not great. Sometimes it shined

JBL. You will enjoy it more due to the bass and optional wireless surrounds. It’s a fun system as I had the original 1300x. Atmos was extremely present and overall surround was great. 1300mk2 has only been improved from what I’ve read

The JBL 1300X MK2 actually sounded really good with movies. The Wireless Surrounds paired instantly and actually had more overall sound output than the Flexus Surround 200’s. The JBLs were more alive during movies, but sounded forced at times. The Surround Decoding Algorithms is different between th

I bought one of the new 1300XMK2 when it was launched for around $1300. Just set it up. I was a bit disappointed that the 1300MK2 non-X was only available in the UK and other countries. The sub looks so much better. This is my first soundbar, I've always been a fan of separates and 5.1 speakers. So

Yeah it does scratch off Sonos unless you’re OK with removing dts from your collection. There are more atmos films in 4k than regular Blu-ray but when buying Blu-ray dts nearly dominates the market. There is still a lot of dts in 4k as well. The idea of Sonos is simplicity - stream majority of the t
