The European version of the JBL 1300 mk2 has 1200watts going to the 2 8 in drivers in the sub. The 990f has 300watts going to the 2 8in drivers in the sub. The JBL will destroy the 990f in the sub department. The 990f sub is truly underwhelming

I’ve got the 1300 MK 2 and the bass has been pretty immense, so much so I’ve had to turn it down a touch and that was on the 3 setting, now it’s a little under 3. During the opening of one of the latest Stranger Things episodes something happens before the titles and it literally shoot everything, t

Goddamn JBL mk2 1300, insane product. I watched the movie called Dunkirk in DTS. The volume was only at 8, and the bullet starting noise was too loud. JBL's new soundbar easily wins over the Q990f.

Hey, I also had a Q990D, and even with the bass levels set to max and all the sound effects turned on, it was still very underwhelming for music listening. For movies it was OK, especially those with Atmos, however for louder scenes the sub would rattle and make unpleasant sounds. I ended up returni

Good question. Having owned both, I’d say Samsung spreads more constant background sound through the rear speakers, while the JBL is more focused on the actual on-screen action and object placement. One important thing to keep in mind is that Samsung’s rears have no mid or low-frequency, whereas the

I’ve got the JBL Bar 1300 MK2 (Japan version) and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. I came from an old LG SK9Y and the jump in quality is massive. Even though the sub looks kinda small, it’s actually a dual 8-inch with 1200W RMS and you can definitely feel it. It fills the room easily and still keeps

I would avoid Sonos as they are still stuck in software issues since more than 1 year. And they have hardware issues too with the paint flaking from the grids. Anyway it doesn’t support properly DTS which is a no go if you wanna play Blu ray discs except with spexific and more expensive players whic

I used to have the Samsung Q990F, and YouTube always sounded terrible on it (YouTube sounds like crap on any soundbar). I switched to the JBL 1300XMK2, connected via eARC to my LG C5 and I absolutely love it. Both the Q990F and the JBL 1300 MK2 are great options, but the bass on the JBL is simply to

I have a JBL BAR 1300 MK2 and it’s pretty awesome. The biggest factor which swayed my decision from the Samsung 990F was that the rear surround speakers are completely wireless. This was a huge plus compared to having speakers which required man’s power connection due to my living room layout. They

I have heard a lot of good about the JBL Bar 1300 MK2. I have the Bar 1000 and it's excellent.
