Bar 1000MK2

Avoid Sonos, sound quality is largely overrated and they have many many software issues. We replaced our Sonos gear with JBL bars and sound clarity and detail is incredible. We have a Bar 300 and a Bar 1000.

Be aware that a sub may cause trouble with you neighbours you will probably have to set its volume down. I have a JBL bar 1000 (not the 1300) and assuming their software is similar they have one MAJOR flaw: their AI voice enhancer mode (pure voice) and smart EQ/upmixer (smart mode) are ALWAYS enabled by default when you power on the soundbar. Even when you turn them off they will revert back to on.. Wh

As Sonos is in deep trouble with software issues since almost 2 years you probably should try another brand. Try a JBL Bar 300 or 500 or 1000.

Maybe you should think twice before considering Sonos. Despite what their influencers are saying, they still have not solved their huge software issues. It's less worse than it was more than 1 year ago when they moved the software platform to the cloud. They fired a lot of people including their CEO
