That’s a very valid question and a very respectfull one too. Too many people just don’t care. I believe you can set the volume of the sub for any soundbar. You certainly can on our JBL Bar 1000. We lowered it a bit. We have a Bar 300 too in the gaming room and it has no sub. So no deep basses which

I have the same issue with jbl 1000 mk1, bought it second hand but still. I had a jbl 5.1 4k Ultra hd before and the bass was just amazing on that one, and its supposed to be the same subwoofer on jbl 1000 mk1 (?) ,but a bit more power on jbl 1000 so you would think it would be great but doesnt come

Sonos Arc Ultra. One thing I have noticed which really separate Sonos and Bose is the clearity of sound you get from Soundbars. I have used JBl BAR 1000 and Samsungs at my friends house and I have Bose and tested Sonos. No comparison of Bose and Sonos in quality, calibration of each sound and crisp,

1000% the Bose setup. I had the Q800B myself before (not quite the 990 but it's the same subwoofer design), it was pretty good. I had the Bose Smart 600 + BM700 later, the BM700 absolutely blows the Samsung subwoofer away. It plays a little deeper than the Samsung, I bet it's louder at max volume to

I’ve got a JBL Bar with a sub and that sub does most of the heavy lifting honestly. Without it, it would feel pretty underwhelming. For movies it’s great, for regular TV it’s almost overkill sometimes.

I’ve been having the same experience with my JBL Bar 1000 MK2. The bass isn’t as strong as I expected, it doesn’t really get loud, and I’m not sure what could be causing that. However, the Dolby Atmos is impressive, especially when watching movies or even playing music.

Make sure bass enhancement is on in the app. I'm assuming you probably set the bass & subwoofer settings as high as they can go and just aren't satisfied? If you have the bass enhancement on, bass at +6 & sub at +6 & it's still not enough for you, the only thing left is a sub crawl. It might be the

To me, jbl sounded like it was wrapped around a cloth and being played not that great clarity and the bass, i don't know I could only see the sub shaking but not feel anything since ig the shop was pretty big, couldn't pressurize that area well. But samsung def has an edge in sound quality since I c

We had a Beam in the gaming room and a Arc+Ones in the living room. Then the app shitstorm happened : they decided to move the software platform to a cloud system and it was catastrophic. It practically rendered their speakers uniseable. Then, bad press articles have been published and Sonos ended u
