The JBL 306P are studio monitors. They're designed primarily for music studios, not Hi-Fi listening in a normal living room. thank you so much. !thanksbrewers also recommended JBL , and so is my friend.so for now I'm aiming for 306P Mk ii which should be great fit. edit. its going to be Pioneer DJ VM-50love the looks, free delivery in my area, connectivity, and acording to specs it has a bit better frequency range.

Do you need a phono input? For around 400 you can get Kali lp-6 v2 or mm6. Better bass extension, more output, super linear response. Other options include the Adam audio t7v, and the jbl 306p. The klipsch sevens are nice and have that phono input, but are above that price. You can go with the fives
