Need a backpack for crutches that holds a Stanley safely
I think your best bet is to switch to a closed lid water bottle for the time on crutches. Backpacks are going to really struggle to hold a Stanley, especially when you consider the process of putting on a backpack. As far as a backpack itself, I’m a fan of Jansports. My preference is a Big Student.

I can still feel the edges of the 5 books digging into my lower back…
They removed most of the lockers for schools in our areas. Poor kids having to lug all those damn books. I just bought my kid a big student jansport. Worth every penny.

Osprey Daylight 26+6 vs Patagonia Micro MLC for 4 day trip
I fly everywhere with a Jansport Big Student backpack. It’s 34l, so you have to underpack it just a smidge to fit it under the seat. They are super affordable, and they hold up. I’ve had mine for ten years. I’ve been looking and looking to replace it with something more “grown up”, but I can’t find

backpack suggestions
I’m a big fan of jansport. I am currently using a lilac Big Student for work. It has a laptop sleeve (fits my 15in laptop, 15ish in external monitor, and my iPad with keyboard case), two large pockets, and then three smaller pockets on the front. I carry my lunch, two 32oz owalas, 2-3 battery banks,

What backpack are you using for your everyday carry right now?
Jansport Big Student. Has worked for the past few years and hoping to get another few. Addendum - I realized that I dont actually need half the stuff I carry so I'm considering either switching to the Kavu rope sling or just keeping everything in a milk crate that I'll keep either in my car or the w

What is your “go-to” handbag?
I am also a jeans-and-tee type gal, and depending on how casual you want to get, or how much you're carrying, I really love Jansport everything and they are way under your budget. Also durable and washable. I especially love their Fifth Avenue Waist Pack/Sling and own four in different colors/patter
