Remote Sysadmins, what's your go to headset for meetings?
My Favourite, for in office or away has to be the Jabra Evolve 2 75. I can be putting away dishes, hoovering, walking through the city, or pacing the office, and the other person barely hears a whisper. The boom mic seems to have great outside vs inside noise cancellation. The ANC is also pretty goo

The best audiophile headphones are now from Sennheiser π©πͺ, Philips π³π±, Meze π·π΄, and Focal π«π·. Quality = European
By now only intended for workplace, thoThey closed their consumer lines I own a Jabra Evolve2 75 and it's the best for videocalls. It has great mic noise cancelling, battery lasts a lot. It is over ear but not around it, so I can wear it comfortably for several hours while wearing glasses. By contra

Corporate slaves of Singapore, what earphone/earpiece/headphone/earbud you are using for your endless Zoom/Teams call (in both office and WFH)?
Jabra Evolve2 75 provided by company. Everyone sounds really good, I can tell when someone is not using it.

Official Linux support
I'm sorry support I'm gonna call you out on that reply as poor. It is 2026, Linux needs a version of the software app for windows or better, Jabra direct is ok. The software you directed him to, now I read the install notes is simply overkill and a lame reply for support to make. My son needs a Jabr

Sydney Daily Random Discussion Thread 03/06/2025
Oh yeh, having been in the call centre industry most of my life, I really appreciate proper headsets. These are the Jabra Evolve2 75's...still pretty much top of the line and way above what the plebs get issued. There's been an 85 released since, but I think it's just got an extra 2 mics & ear cups

Noisy work environment and overwhelm
Letβs talk about headphones before dismissing them. Jabra Evolve2 75 (select MS platform) is what we use and the noise canceling is amazing. I literally wear mine all day long. I highly recommend that you order yourself a pair. I am noise sensitive from surviving a stroke and take medication for mig

Always mic problems at Evolve2 75 after a few months of work
Exactly what we've seen on this model. We've seen a MUCH higher failure rate on that particular model, compared to all other headset models. The annoying part is the original Evolve 75 also had a similar issue, so you would think Jabra R&D would have been extra cautious with the Evolve2 75 design. J

Always mic problems at Evolve2 75 after a few months of work
Yeah, totally agree with this. Weβve run into the same issues with the Evolve2 75 β failure rate is definitely higher than with other Jabra headsets, and it reminds me a lot of the problems we saw with the original Evolve 75. On the Evolve2 85, same story here with the mic boom. It almost always cra

Need a headset that is wireless (not Bluetooth preferably) for work
Ignore the WH62 and WH66, unless you're getting a really good deal, as they are end of life. The HA64 and WH64 are the same. No difference other than the screen. Both are solid headsets, but if you need more noise cancelling the WH68 with ANC is worth a look. The Jabra Evolve2 75 is great until the m

Jabra Evolve2 75 - 1.6.0 firmware
I tried to upgrade to most recent fw - 1.13.1. DONT even try it.Had to rollback again to 1.6.0. All other versions are useless in my case.I got a wall in front of me and on the right side. Nobody can hear me unless I scream as f. on any version higher that 1.6.0. https://gofile.io/d/ChgM1j or https:
