I used Mullvad and IVPN. Both work well and are easy to install & update, which is important to me as I use Linux and am not a Linux Pro. They both claim to not keep logs. Ivpn was a little quicker.

Yes, proton has lots of virtual server. But I still find their speed are much better then ivpm for mobile networks but for wired broadband and other networks ivpn wins for me.

I think Nym is the best for privacy, but Mullvad is the best middle-ground for speed & privacy. IVPN and Proton are also close I think.
