Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 VPN Removed from App Stores | Internet Freedom Foundation

Trusted and top VPNs providers mainly Mullvad, IVPN, and ProtonVPN all have open-source clients hence they are available easily on F-Droid and on their websites/Github.

What VPN should I use?

Mullvad, Proton or IVPN IVPN is cheapest of you don't mind being logged into max two devices at a time. Proton has the largest number of servers. The others to consider are Nym (looks good but new, so discounted but also unproven) or Windscribe (absolutely solid if you don't mind them being in Canad

I can't update Flatpak fully due to internet issues. A VPN might work. Is there a good VPN for Linux Mint?

IMO Mullvad is the best for Mint. The ProtonVPN Linux app still sucks. I've heard iVPN are also good, but never tried them. You can download the app as a .deb file from their website.

Router VPN + Pihole + Unbound

I’m no expert on this, so hopefully others can hop in and correct me if needed, but a pihole is like water surface level skimmer. It skims off all the requests from a website or a device and catches the ones it wants in its net, and drops them in a hole. Because it selects what it wants and sends th

modDNS beta launch - Audited, open-source DNS filtering service by IVPN

Yes, no extra costs for IVPN Pro users now and in the future. You can configure modDNS as custom DNS in the IVPN app, the compatibility is straightforward. We don't plan any deeper integration to IVPN, we see this as a separate add-on for those who want more customisation beyond what AntiTracker off

Details Leaked - Need Help

There are a lot of websites you can try, though I’d be careful with websites that sell the same things or are clearly AI-generated. Since you already know you’re in breaches from checking IntelX, what I’d suggest doing from here is this: There are a lot of websites that proxy IntelX searches and all

VPN Choices?

I used Mullvad and IVPN. Both work well and are easy to install & update, which is important to me as I use Linux and am not a Linux Pro. They both claim to not keep logs. Ivpn was a little quicker.

My Degoogle Plan

I'd say either get the whole Proton package or split everything up (for main apps, at least- free tier password managers are full featured enough that it doesn't make much difference). It's probably not very good value otherwise, unless you're paying for one Proton service and making do with free ti

Pros and cons of Proton ecosystem

Filen for cloud. Which is really good (and it's literally two clicks to set up a local mount on Linux). I got 100gb for 40 euros lifetime. The only downside being the lack of integrated office suite (so I have Murena as a secondary cloud provider as they have an OnlyOffice integration). For mail I u
