First robot vacuum… what changed the most for you?
Roomba i3+. Is an older model but still.

What’s the best garage accessory you’ve ever purchased?
I really like the iRobot self emptying ones. Got multiple i3s. Straightforward to fix and maintain for car people like us and parts are cheap. Virtual walls to keep it from hazardous stuff are abundant on Amazon and knockoffs work as well as real ones. Don’t ever buy the iHome stuff. Worked for a mo

Quick question, do u guys life in your households? Cause my roomba gets caught on everything
The 690 is like the bare bones with very old tech. When iRobot switched to the rubber beater bars that really helped with getting tangled in wires and the cleaning/tracking was much more efficient. The j series brought object detection which means it usually will go around said object. The newest se

found a cheap roomba online is it worth it?
Definitely worth it. The i4+ will come with a self empty dock, and it supports mapping the house so you can have it clean specific rooms. Plus, there's so much less randomly bumping around, so it actually ensures it hits every inch of floor instead of hoping it does by turning randomly. Changing fro

With 4 dogs I need a good robot type vacuum (with or without the mop option). Anyone have one they love?
I now have two Roombas (iRobot brand): the i6+ and i3+ both secondhand purchased. They both work great. The i3+ is a little slower and tends to get stuck more frequently but they both get the job done and empty into a collection bin which is a must for all the dog hair they gather in a day. I don’t

So in the history of all robotics created, what is the best robot vacuum?
I owned iRobot i3 - worked fine, but only real sensor - was front bumper, so he was “dumb”. Best thing about iRobot is that you can replace every part without 3rd party help. I had it for several years, not a single problem whatsoever.

What’s one cleaning habit you started in your 30s that actually stuck?
Roomba i3+. We had one of the first versions for about a decade, and upgraded to this one last year. I do check on the rollers and clear them about once a month, but haven’t had any clogs. It’s programmed to run Monday, Wednesday, Friday and it keeps up well.

Roborock changed my life and I can’t stress this enough
Adhd here with two cats. When I first got my roomba i3 plus I was amazed at just how much weight off ones shoulders robot vacuums can relieve, the braava mop was also nice.... but eventually I started seeing flaws and in my new place they struggled with thresholds and then I heard of roomba going ba

i7+ won't stop on battery contacts (new base sensors?)
Hey!Yeah they are shocking. Repairs seem squarely a community thing. So I didnt end up getting DeoxIT but will to improve things. RoombaRefuge knows their stuff. Turns out the top circular sensor - the eye - was the fault. The wires are twisted and eventually snap, I recall reading, so I bought this

Aspirateur robot
