I made a ramp for my robot vacuum to help clear thresholds
I'm so angry at my stupid $400 Roomba. It has NEVER mapped my house successfully, and hasn't even made it out of its room in a year. Most of the time it just sits on its stupid charging station complaining about something. (iRobot Roomba Combo i3+) It was about as expensive as TWO of my previous rob

What’s the best garage accessory you’ve ever purchased?
I really like the iRobot self emptying ones. Got multiple i3s. Straightforward to fix and maintain for car people like us and parts are cheap. Virtual walls to keep it from hazardous stuff are abundant on Amazon and knockoffs work as well as real ones. Don’t ever buy the iHome stuff. Worked for a mo

Quick question, do u guys life in your households? Cause my roomba gets caught on everything
The 690 is like the bare bones with very old tech. When iRobot switched to the rubber beater bars that really helped with getting tangled in wires and the cleaning/tracking was much more efficient. The j series brought object detection which means it usually will go around said object. The newest se

found a cheap roomba online is it worth it?
Definitely worth it. The i4+ will come with a self empty dock, and it supports mapping the house so you can have it clean specific rooms. Plus, there's so much less randomly bumping around, so it actually ensures it hits every inch of floor instead of hoping it does by turning randomly. Changing fro

With 4 dogs I need a good robot type vacuum (with or without the mop option). Anyone have one they love?
I now have two Roombas (iRobot brand): the i6+ and i3+ both secondhand purchased. They both work great. The i3+ is a little slower and tends to get stuck more frequently but they both get the job done and empty into a collection bin which is a must for all the dog hair they gather in a day. I don’t

So in the history of all robotics created, what is the best robot vacuum?
I owned iRobot i3 - worked fine, but only real sensor - was front bumper, so he was “dumb”. Best thing about iRobot is that you can replace every part without 3rd party help. I had it for several years, not a single problem whatsoever.

Don’t forget to change your AC filter every month, especially if you have Golden Retrievers
Its a small house about 1100 sq ft 1 golden (almost 10 month pup) she sheds way more than any of my past goldens but she's also more of a gremlin than any either so idk. Both are older roomba think i3 & i3+ both at least 5 yrs old so that may have factor but they clog almost every night. I've also h

iRobot stock tumbles 30% after Roomba maker warns the search for a buyer has stalled
I first owner a $100 entry-level Eufy and later upgraded to a $350 Roomba i3. The Roomba gas better build quality but is so buggy to the point that I’m about ready to throw it away. Roomba’s Chinese competitors have much better software and better quality overall. Roomba dropped the ball. As a Dyson

My cats just discovered the robot vacuum… and things escalated quickly
Which robot vacuum do you have? I have a Roomba i3+, but it started giving me error messages and isn't working. I'm thinking about replacing it. Do you like yours?
