Robot Vacuum

My Roomba J7+ is fine after 3 years... though you will need to manually remove all the hair stuck on the brushes like once per week, but I don't mind doing it...If you are willing to pay this much, the newer model has a mop integrated as well. Honestly, when I have it on schedule, it keeps the house

Parents of toddlers: what's your realistic floor-cleaning workflow?

We start with containing the mess as much as possible- only eating at the table, and wiping up sticky/globby messes immediately with Clorox or baby wipes which are always on hand. I run the mop and vacuum robot twice a day. Once in between lunch and dinner and once after bed. I find that while the r

New to robot vacuums! How often should I schedule a vacuum & mop?

I like everyday vacuum then mop (roomba J7 + Braava M6) but I’m moving to a Narwal Flow 2 on Wednesday and will schedule vacuum and then mop everyday and I have laminated floors

Any gift ideas for my bestie moving into a small apartment?

if she’s that neat, robot vac is a win. narwal freo x10 pro is solid, but also look at: roborock qrevo / s7 maxv if you want better mapping + mopping roomba j7+ if she’ll love the auto-empty bin i’d pick whatever has auto-empty + good mopping in your price range and maybe add a pack of extra mop pad

Robot vacuum

The iRobot j7+ self emptying non-mopping version can be found on Amazon as an inexpensive refurb and vacuums well. It uses bags so easy to change out, is good at avoiding poop and other obstacles. No vacuum should be trusted to avoid pee; if one hits pee, it will likely spread the pee around making

Are any of these robot vacuums any good.

Combos from iRobot aren’t that great, to be honest. The i5 as a vacuum isn’t bad at all. It’s the lower mid level but no less cleans decent. J5 and j7 are great mid to middle upper levels. I have limited experience with a combo and I wasn’t a fan. The vacuuming aspect of things is great.

Anyone have Mohawk RevWood Select laminate wood floors and use a robotic vacuum?

I have a whole house of your exact product, the Mohawk RevWood Select, and have been using a roomba j7+ for many years. It is vacuum only. No mopping function. It has rollers but they are rubber, so maybe that makes a difference. I have not noticed any damage to the floors, like surface scratches or

What to look for in a robot vac for a multi-cat household

We have 4 cats, well, 3 now :( and we had a iRobot J7+ for awhile, it was ok. hard to find OEM parts now. Then we got the roborock Saros 10R. Holy shit what a game changer. It's $1000 right now on amazon, which is what I paid for it (purchased in July 2025) and for us, it's 100% worth it. It vacuums

Roomba 105 combo

I would recommend a roomba model that detects stuff, from a J7, J7+ to a J9, J9+ (the do detect pet "presents"😅) not the J9+combo, (that units dock had plenty of failures) I would also go for a Plus 505 combo if you also want to mop the floor, because It has the laser view but also a front camera. Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop in India (2025) for Marble Floors?

I use a Roomba j7+. It’s not cheap, and it doesn’t mop, but it’s been decent for dust and pet hair on hard floors. It avoids random stuff on the floor like wires, clothes, or blankets most of the time. Haven’t tested it with pet mess, but it claims to avoid that too. What I like: it’s easy to clean.
