Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum?
I have had several Roomba vacuums, and currently have a J7+ on main floor and an i4 in the basement. They really aren't great. Our J7 has been replaced by Roomba 2-3 times, which is great from a customer service aspect, but not great because it has needed to be replaced multiple times. In addition t

What Vacuum Cleaner do you recommend?
A robot vacuum that runs daily for keeping things in check. Not sure which to recommend anymore... I have a Roomba J7+, but personally I would not recommend Roomba as a brand anymore. Got the J7 because I loved my 980 and wanted an upgrade. Just have not been as happy with it. It works but have had

Roomba 705 Max NOT combo — Corner brush won't stay on
I just got off of the chat a couple of hours ago with iRobot Select. They sent me the J7+ side brush, which is my old Roomba. They told me they don’t have any 705 Max side brushes. They’re now sending me an entirely new 705 Max, including the dock. I find it extremely wasteful, and am hopeful they’l

J7+ and just bought a braava jet m6
Nevermind. Irobot/roomba must of misread my email. They sent me replacement wheels for my j7+ for free. Not the m6 so it can go over my sliver of carpet. Welp. Time to re-return it again...I cancelled the original return. Darn...

Broken charger?
Have the same issue with my J7+. From videos I've seen it's not an easy part changeout. I've had my J7+ for 4 years, daily whole house cleanings. With the cost of an equivalent watt hour battery, iRobot repair of the clean base, the compatibility of filters and rollers between the J7 and J9, and the

Bought a Roomba J7+ from a thrift store for $75. Guess I didn’t do my research beforehand 😅
I’m about to buy a j7+ and honestly seems very cheap. I’m from Europe and iRobot customer service seems not to answer their phone. I heard that those select program J7 have an X in their serial number. The serial no for the one I wish to purchase is J755840B240822N301055. Can anyone please try to he

Warranty voiding time
Newer J7+ melted contacts are a continuing issue. On my second cleaning/charging station. That one is melting too. I am now off warrenty. My solution is to purchase a J7 (not plus) charging station. Roomba will return to the standard station and charge. It knows not to empty bin. Simple solution. Ma

I'm overwhelmed and need help finding the right unit
I have a j7+ (6 months downstairs $335 Black Friday or Total Tech deal at Best Buy) and a Combo j9+ (18 months upstairs $999). The combo mops and vacuums. j7 just vacuums. Both have the clean base which requires bags. The only issue I’ve had with the j7 is it sometimes gets lost. And the sensor some

Switched from '22 Roomba J7+ to Roborock Q8 Max+, issues and observations
Man, we did the same change just recently, and your post contains nearly all of the same frustrations I had with my Roomba J7+, although we didn't have the full experience. We did not have him roaming in the night, at least... But to add an annoyance, I cleaned the unit weekly with air, and still, e

Thanks iRobot for discontinuing the S9
I completely relate—I've had similar issues with deteriorating parts (rollers in my case), poor material quality, and disappointing customer support from iRobot with my Combo J7+. It’s pushed me towards Roborock, too. I'm expecting my wheels to wear out also, as I can't get the robot to add the wood
