Parents of the year award.

I google insta360 x5 and it cost 2.5k With that money, plus selling off the bike, can get a cheap car

Reccs for a good bike cam

After a near miss a few weeks back, I've been experimenting with cameras. I picked up an Insta360 X5 last week - I really like being able to capture what's happening beside me in addition to the front. I'm impressed with the image stability - it does some magic to make bumpy roads seem smooth. I'm s

Any news on X6 release date?

The next camare out is the Insta360 Luna pro, and the Luna Ultra. x6 and acepro 3 could be as late as 2027. due to AI hogging the resources. Its better for them and maybe actually us, if they instead better their existing lines with acessories and updates. because it can build the standard for the n

How do i replicate this picture?

With a small fisheye, e.g. in a 360° camera. Among these, the Insta360 X5 is probably the best value option available at the moment.

I definitely got scammed on the Osmo360

Anybody can work in these stores, they are not experts like us 😭 In your country you need to tell the reason for giving camera back right away? For scuba you need Insta360 X5, there are some very good deals now on Cosco and similar (just dont buy directly from Insta350)

Actions cams for snorkeling

So it honestly depends on your budget and how serious you are about the quality. Personally I would stay away from GoPro because they fell behind. I would recommend you the DJI 6 or AcePro 2. Both are awesome and have some pros and cons, just watch a review of both and then decide which one you pref

Need 4 cameras to record a Multi-Camera Event. Suggestions?

100% a rental scenario if it's a one off with weird income pathways. Insta360 X5's are pretty standard in event media for quick and budget multicam, and they're cost effective. None of your options make sense unless you're doing multicam often, and there are secondary costs per camera like additiona

What kind of cameras do you use on your bikes?

I have a Insta360 X5 for my road bike and a GoPro Hero 10 for my gravel bike but I don’t consider either of these “dash cams”. I usually only flip them on when I come to a part of my route where I think it might be a memorable segment to capture. For a dashcam like camera I think you’re going to see

Reasons to not buy the X5?

I've never used the GoPro Max or the Ace Pro 2 so can't compare anything to those. I went from the Ricoh Theta S3 to the Insta X3 to the X5 (I've always liked the candy bar form factor - skipped the X4). Reasons not to buy X5: Price (really only reason I see) - Factoring in new accessories you will

What's the point?

If they want to compete with insta in terms of sales, they must have a working windows app. They sell the camera for cheaper price, so I suspect they want to compete. Who uses windows ? Casuals. I am a casual and have sent back my Osmo 360 this morning. Using it for 1 week has convinced me that the
