Did the Ace Pro 2 get a redesign? Or is it just the lens cover?
Hi there! We're rolling out an updated version of the Ace Pro 2 featuring a redesigned lens guard. Product functionality remains the same. No action is needed if you already own an Ace Pro 2. It continues to work great and you're still backed by full support and the Insta360 promise.

PSA: Insta360 Ace Pro 2 “lens protector” issue makes the dive case useless (unless you buy another part)
Look at the last image For people downvoting me to oblivion The lens protector itself is what makes the camera water proof up to 10m. If I remove that, it is no longer water proof. I'm imagining a scenario where i have the dive case on without the lens protector and I've to handle the camera on a bo

So the street Photography grip is nicer than i thought
I can only speak from my own experience, and I’m definitely not trying to say one product line is objectively better than the other. For context, I travel quite a bit and I also create content for local businesses. Those projects usually involve a more sophisticated setup, but because of the nature

"Fun" camera, rather than "clinical"
You might check out r/toycameras. Most digicams aim for the best accuracy, given the constraints. So even older models by default aim for "clinical." That said, a lot of Panasonics have fun filters, say the TZ/ZS range. I have a ZS40 (TZ40 outside North America), and the toy camera and B&W filters a

Action cameras? Which one is best?
Right now? Insta360 Ace Pro 2. Followed closely by DJI Action 5. GoPro is still ok but straight up not worth it with the current competition, especially in terms of reliability/functionality. I have a GoPro 12 and if I'm riding solo I just steal my GF's insta360 ace cuz it's just better. Functions s

New camera dilemma (Dji Action 6 or GoPro Hero 13)
Insta360 Ace pro 2 or Go Ultra. DJI if you need professional options. The go ultra is crazy versatile. Insta360 app is easier and more fun in my opinion also.

Recommendations for cameras
For a 360 camera the Insta360 X5 is great, the X4 is also good but has trouble with low light scenes.Action cameras are all good from the main brands, them being GoPro, DJI and Insta360. The Ace Pro 2, DJI action 6, and GoPro 13 are very similar tho each has its drawbacks.GoPro gets too hot, Ace pro

Best all-around action camera?
If you want one camera that can cover all three use cases pretty well, I’d look at the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 first. It seems like the kind of camera that gives you strong overall quality while still being simple enough to live with day to day. For motorcycle footage, sports, and travel, I’d rather have

best action camera for all around use?
Been using the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 for a few months now and it’s been solid. The 8K and low-light performance are a big step up, and the flip screen makes vlogging way easier. Battery life holds up for a full day of shooting if you’re not recording nonstop. Only heads up: grab a couple extra batterie
