IK Multimedia has pulled Mixbox from the App Store

Mixbox is very good. And the iLoud MTM are one of the best nearfield monitors for small poorly treated rooms. Tone X is great too, best free amp sims on iOS. But the company is an asshole for abandoning Mixbox and all their older apps.

Do you know if iLoud Micro Monitors good enough to mix with on a regular basis?

Nord or Yamaha or ???

I don't know you, or anything about your situation. You are moving into a college dorm. If you wanted my two cents. I would get a Macbook with Logic 12 and Mainstage (at least 512GB storage), a Studiologic SL88GT, and a pair of iLoud MTM mk2 speakers. Additional software is at least Pianoteq 9.
