The Hyper X Cloud 3 S is an excellent choice for competitive/story games. I have a lot of headphones and IEMs that I rotate through and these are pretty decent, I personally EQ them to emphasize footsteps as well. Also, for $140 you cant beat the price, for a good sound wireless headset. IEMs are gr

I heard the opposite. Cloud 2 being more bassy and Cloud 3 S being more the neutral "audiophile" frequency. If you haven't, recommend to firmware update via NGENUITY non-beta and set EQ there. Reset your audio settings from the Settings Menu as well. Give these a try from u/AESIRu that I daily drive

Cloud 3s wireless may be the best HyperX has to offer imo, you just get it all; wireless, battery life, very solid audio quality, a workable mic for casual playing, chatting or work and top notch comfort

Have you experienced issues related to the headset switching to sleep mode when listening to quiet audio? I se that a lot of people reported having issue with that and not being able to disable this "auto-sleep feature" (e.g.: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1nike47/hyperx_cloud_3s_wireless_how

I ditched Ngenuity entirely for APO Equalizer. Highly recommend!!! I hopped on AutoEQ (website) and started from one of their presets to make it easier. This thread got me going, and I was impressed with the improvements I got it of my Cloud 3s: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1hwduh9/if_yo

Check out this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1hwduh9/if_you_own_hyperx_cloud_iii_read_this_ngenuity I just got my 3S and was super disappointed as well. Ended up ditching Ngenuity, downloading APO Equalizer and experimenting with different suggested EQs suggested in that thread. The diffe

Couldn't fınd a measurement for II Wireless on squig.link so can't comment on that. III S does have a decent amount of bass as seen here. https://gadgetrytech.squig.link/headsets/?share=Harman_2018_Target,HyperX_Cloud_III_Wireless_S Comparison to Cloud II: https://imgur.com/v7CPDym https://imgur.com/bW4y6

HyperX doesn't have a particular house sound; each of their headphones has their own kind of tuning. The Cloud IIIS has a generally more audiophile tune out of the box so if you're used to heavily boosted bass (particularly midbass, like a lot of gaming headsets) it's going to sound strange to you u
