I do also keep it on performance mode full time. I believe in the omen hub i saw there were options to undervolt. Next time I power on

You probably don't need your CPU boosting that hard for most games. Disable boost or lower it and you won't see it throttle so bad. The HPs cryo-compound is ass. I got my wife an HP Omen Max 16 and had to change the thermal paste less than 3 months in. One CPU core was overheating to 100C while idle and fans going at max RPMs. There was quite a bit of liquid metal in the foam walls. It's been problem free since the change to Gri
