Teens using VPN to cheat in Gorilla Tag are unknowingly selling their internet connections | Cheaters become unwitting accomplices to hackers

Yea not uncommon unfortunately I remember a similar controversy might have been Hotspot shield was it? It was the top free VPN at the time people were using it for Netflix and what not while it was quietly highjacking peoples connections for god knows what.

YSK that 88% of "free" VPNs leak the exact data they promise to hide. The app you installed for privacy is probably the most surveilled app on your phone.

They are correct. Forgot using tape on webcam.

I’d like to refute a couple of things here. “It is physically impossible for them to have any record of sessions” Just because Mullvad or any VPN provider for that matter, doesn’t write to disk and only runs in memory does not make it immune to data collection. Malware can live in memory and data ca

What is your verdict on DashLane as a password manager?

Definitely not worth it. It's way waaayyyy overpriced for a password manager. Considering Bitwarden and Proton pass are around 20$ with current discounts. And apple pass is free. Also the vpn they give you, hotspot shield, has one of the worst track records and privacy policies in the vpn space. The

Do you use a VPN? If not, would you consider using a VPN if some of your social media got banned in your country and a VPN was the only way round the ban?

All the big, known, and advertised VPN’s are owned by the same Chinese or Israeli companies…Israeli-Linked VPN Ownership• Kape Technologies: An Israeli-founded digital security company that owns major providers including ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access (PIA), and ZenMate.•• Hola VPN:

Are VPN’s allowed on hypixel

VPNs can sometimes lower ping by taking a better route to the server, but it’s not guaranteed and it can also worsen it. I’d avoid free VPNs like Hotspot Shield anyway. When it’s free, you’re usually the product, and your data can be monetized. I’ve used Amnezia VPN and I had no issues with it for t

will tiktok track my home

Every website or app you use will have your IP address, which is the unique ID to your device or your home wifi. So technically, yes, TikTok can trace your location because of that. But they'd have to have a reason to... If you are in the US, then your government has this same info. If you are conce

Is hotspotshield trustworthy?

Hotspot Shield is a master at taking your money and a complete failure at delivering what you paid for. I maintained a paid Premium membership for years, only to be arbitrarily downgraded to Basic without any valid explanation whilst still having a year paid for. After numerous back-and-forths with
