Always wanted to try this. My HE6se V2 sounds great, amped reasonably by thr iHA-8. Really have always liked the more uniform presentation by circle cup Hifimans compared to the egg-shaped ones, though both have their respective strengths. Have you tried the HE6se V2 and how different is it to this?

I used to use the Arya Stealth at one point but now I rotate between the HE1000 Stealth and HE6se V2 modded. To me they are the only two HiFimans I find not to have a sharp top end whilst being extremely detailed and slams hard.

It's so weird how unlucky some people get with hifiman. I've owned 5 sets over the years and never had a single issue. Currently have HE1000 Stealth, HE6seV2, and Ed XS. Couldn't be happier. Good luck with your order tomorrow!!

Just for shits and giggles, I bought a Hifiman device that converts speaker taps to an XLR headphone out for particularly challenging to drive headphones. It was ... pretty fun with an HE6se v2. 😂
