Which grinder for someone new? [$200]
Look at the hibrew g5. It is a stepless single dosing espresso grinder that can also do Turkish grind as well. Factory store on eBay has them for $140 (USD). Amazon on the other hand wants $200.....

Need recommendations for a grinder [200$CAD]
I use a hibrew g5, it is single dosing stepless grinder that will also grind Turkish as well. When I got it via AliExpress $125 before discount (coins) to $117 USD. Seems like the factory store via eBay has it for $145 discounted via code to $120ish USD. I would buy it again after 2 years of use.

Can we make it with an Amazon grinder? [$100]
I use a Hibrew g5, it is single dosing, stepless adjustment, Turkish/espresso capable grinder. It is $189 via Amazon, but the official factory store on eBay sells it for $130. It was a huge step up from my Lido3 hand grinder..... I also see some praise for one of the Shardor grinders from Amazon.

Looking for a budget coffee grinder [150$]
You should consider a hibrew g5 for 150ish. Single dosing, stepless 48mm conical burr set. 2 years in on my use. Good luck!

Is this list enough for first time opening a small coffee shop setup?
The one that he’s buying is anyway going to end up in a landfill because the coffee is gonna suck and manual grinder is never going to workout in a coffee shop. I’d have suggested a hibrew G5 but it’s a single dose.

Single dose grinder without 2nd mortgage? [$400 or less]
Are you asking about the Turin df54 or the sk40 conical? I use a conical similar to the sk40 but 48mm, Hibrew G5. It is single dosing, Turkish capable grinder... $200USD on Amazon, but the official factory store on eBay has it for $130. Would 10/10 buy it again, but I'm a Luddite that drinks dark ro

Grinder Options under [$200]
I like my hibrew g5 a lot, low retention, single dosing, espresso and Turkish capable. I paid (US) $125 on AliExpress before the tariff fiasco. I've seen it on eBay for $120 lately, but also for $225ish on Amazon.
