Studio thoughts from a Topre diehard - it's amazing
I've never had experience with Topre, but I have an obsession with keyboards that have a trackpoint and integrated mouse buttons (I wish TEX still sold the Yoda II, as I LOVE my Shura DIY), so I took a chance on the Studio... and man, am I glad I did. The layout took some getting used to, this being

This keyboard I designed and assembled
I did think about designing it with the possibilities of a split spacebar, which I think is right up your alley! Splitting it up into 3 different keys is pretty common. The HHKB studio I'm pretty sure also has 3 additional buttons below the spacebar, so a combination of these two would be crazy for

Please Lenovo bring back "TrackPoint Keyboard II "or new iteration.
Dont know if you would like it. But check out "HHKB Studio" :D. I use the hybrid version without the trackpoint and have been loving the layout (be aware that the stupid uses standard MX switches, and the others use Topre)

More HHKBs and balls.
Neat! Is that a Ploopy Adept? My HHKB Studio just arrived. I replaced the abomination that is the default linear switches with Kailh Box Whites, and now I am liking it quite a lot. The pointing stick is especially well-executed. Bravo! The only thing it's missing (aside from proper Topre switches) i

Designing my own HHKB w/ trackball.
Bc the layout also shares the same name we use synonymously with Topre/EC, a lot of people also know of it as just the layout. Shame but yeah I personally would love to see a new creation like this in the HHKB space! still waiting for a what if build from HHKB themselves to make a Topre version of t

The best keyboard I have tried so far..HHKB
i tried womier sk75 tmr, it types really well but too heavy, i tried voyager, i like the flexibility and thumbs, but the stagger is not enough, typing feedback is lacking form low profile, i tried hhkb pro type s hybrid, didn't quite get it, then i tried on hhkb studio, and everything clickedi have

Back to the mouse
I was in the no-Topre-no-buy camp when they first announced the Studio, but I came around when I started thinking about it as just another mechanical keyboard that uses the true HHKB layout and has a nav stick. Was genuinely surprised at how little time it took for me to get used to the stick. I'm o

Thoughts on HHKB Studio
Keyboards are so personal. I just picked up a Studio after not being sure I would like it in a meaningful enough way to justify buying it. I am not a seasoned HHKB user. My first HHKB was the Pro Hybrid Type S in my flair I picked up 2 years ago. I love the keyboard. I’ve adapted to the layout in ma

Tactile Choc v2 vs Choc v1 vs MX - comfort, speed and accuracy?
Mostly I like longer travel, my Zsa voyager had the same travel which I think is good for going back to Mx I ended up getting hhkb studio and I cannot be happy with almost everythjng I do prefer the flexibility of split keyboard, especially having more thumb buttons, but for me everything just click

Vintage IBM M4-1 keyboard in use
Looking around for different offerings, the HHKB Studio seems to be the option I will be going for if I can ever afford it. Swappable mechanical switches + trackpoint + 4 configurable gesture pads. I just wish it had the numpad, but that's always available separately.
