New HHKB Type S Classic
Ricoh era centred legends keycaps are not great. No where near as pleasant as the offset to the top left. Oh well. Interesting if you look at the press release, they are changing around the product lineup, introducing these 6 new SKUs but retiring 9 other SKUs: Looks like they are retiring: HHKB Cla

Did anyone else notice that newer HHKB models are rated for only 30 million keystrokes?
That weird because as I know PFU Japan do not include that info at all. Below is the page for the Classic Type-S https://www.pfudirect.jp/view/item/000000001577?category_page_id=hhkb But Realforce do include that info like this https://www.realforce.co.jp/products/R4HB21/ Notice the: “スイッチ寿命 1億回以上”= s

Best URSA customer Support email address?
Yeah. I'm pretty sure it is a manufacturing defect that they'll probably fix or already fixed. Honestly IMO is easier for them to just wait until a support claim comes than to replace X specific sets of keysets. I installed them on a HHKB Classic and they gonna stay there forever cause I'm not riski

Moreover, if this doesn't help in my case, I will feel bad returning it, as it wi

Perfect Companion
This is something the newer models (classic/hybrid/hybrid type-s) lost compared to the pro2. https://hhkb.io/models/HHKB_Professional_2/ Here is an overview of the pro2. You. can still find them online and for sure second hand on mechmarket etc.

It's funny that for Realforce it's going up, but for HHKB it's going down with new releases (at least based on the PFU's EMEA website). I have a Realforce R2 that I'll use for parts for my future build. Unfortunately, it has variable domes, so I'll probably just use the ones from my Classic.

Giving up on HHKB
Which language do you use on your ISO keyboards? I"m switching between ISO-DE and HHKB with EURkey (ANSI-US with some smarter and easier to remember placements for german special characters) - and that is okay for me. What i absolutley don't like is the classic ANSI-US Layout, especially on 60/65 %
