I finally understand that rubber domes are endgame.
Now you need to try an authentic HHKB, Leopold, or Realforce. In my experience, nothing beats the classics :)

New HHKB Type S Classic
Ricoh era centred legends keycaps are not great. No where near as pleasant as the offset to the top left. Oh well. Interesting if you look at the press release, they are changing around the product lineup, introducing these 6 new SKUs but retiring 9 other SKUs: Looks like they are retiring: HHKB Cla

Enso E - HHKB Split Ergo by Clever, merry christmas
Considering the price of actual PFU HHKB keyboards, this seems like a great price point. FYI, in case you're not taking it into account, the kit pricing does not include switches. If you're using the Dynapak, it would be another $142. The final cost would be $520 + $142 + whatever keycaps you want t

5 year old HHKB
A classic beauty. I had a home break-in 7 years ago and the only notable item stolen was my HHKB modified with Cherry MX stems and the GMK Persona keycap set π

LF Opinions of HHKB Pro Classic

Did anyone else notice that newer HHKB models are rated for only 30 million keystrokes?
That weird because as I know PFU Japan do not include that info at all. Below is the page for the Classic Type-S https://www.pfudirect.jp/view/item/000000001577?category_page_id=hhkb But Realforce do include that info like this https://www.realforce.co.jp/products/R4HB21/ Notice the: βγΉγ€γγε―Ώε½ 1εεδ»₯δΈβ= s

HHKB Upgrade Dilemma
Honestly. NO amount of upgrades, nothing, beats the feeling of typing at the speed of your thoughts on a blank keycapped HHKB. I ran the full keybr.com torture course on Colemak-DH until I hated it, and then honed in on monkeytype.com. But then again, I was absolutely convinced and commited to true,

honestly, i'm glad the "foamed-out thock" trend is finally dying.
Cipulot (and now Metapulse) setups aren't complicated at all, if anything, they're peak customisability haha! Naevies switches are a little soft compared to actual HHKB (I've got both) Metapulse EM60/Cipulot EC-60X PCBs accomodate any 60% layout, you just have to find the right plate. If you board i

Crushed Topre domes from leaving in carrying case
My travel Pro 2 Type S Truly lives an abused life, gets crammed where it fits, which is usually all keys smashed down. It's perfectly fine. Zero issues and it's lived this life since 2015 I think this has to be heavily caveated, and anyone seeing this should take into account the various factors tha

It is scary how little I'm using my other boards ever since getting the HHKB. It's simply too fun to type on, and I love how it sounds especially after lubing. I didn't use sile
