honestly, i'm glad the "foamed-out thock" trend is finally dying.
Cipulot (and now Metapulse) setups aren't complicated at all, if anything, they're peak customisability haha! Naevies switches are a little soft compared to actual HHKB (I've got both) Metapulse EM60/Cipulot EC-60X PCBs accomodate any 60% layout, you just have to find the right plate. If you board i

Crushed Topre domes from leaving in carrying case
My travel Pro 2 Type S Truly lives an abused life, gets crammed where it fits, which is usually all keys smashed down. It's perfectly fine. Zero issues and it's lived this life since 2015 I think this has to be heavily caveated, and anyone seeing this should take into account the various factors tha

Was staying up late for the Dynacap release, but I accidentally fell asleep til the morn!
Hell yeah as long as you’re having fun with it! I have a non pfu hhkb with an expensive keycap set and holy panda switches that ages in a drawer haha. I just always gravitate back to the stock hhkb experience

DAO Keyboard HHKB
This, I type on the new DAO keyboard with the HHKB layout, and boy is it a quiet board. This is the quietest keyboard I have ever had. It feels really great to type on and I really quite like the distinct thock the space bar and enter keys make. The normal keys are more high pitched in sound, but de

my wallet is definitely not having fun with it LOL but yeah i actually also just got a Classic White, Pro Classic with blanks (when they announced the "Type-S" they all went on sale, at least so it seems) and honestly the tactility out of the box is much better than my first Pro Classic was. The wil

First day into HHKB Pro Hybrid...
I’m currently giving hhkb a second chance after I bought and sold an hhkb classic a few years ago. I currently have a stock hybrid and have the same feelings as I did when I tried it the first time. I want to mod it like I did the other (Deskeys purple domes silencing rings, lubed), but currently wa

Need help buying the right board
I’ve been in the keyboard hobby for a while and I ended up with three HHKBs (a Classic mod with Deskey pink v3 and silencing rings, plus a Hybrid Type-S in Snow, a pro 2). It actually took me three attempts before I really started to enjoy Topre. The stock OEM 45g domes felt a little heavy at first,

Why not HHKB Pro JP? (or whatever the current version is called) Granted, it's not the classic unix-like HHKB, nor is it heavy, but it's right there. Other than that, I looked into it recently and the closest were actually some Alice-like fixed-split keyboards (BMEK). There's also Donegal-C where yo

that's a soothing combination, comfortable to vision colors. Easy to apply MX sliders? Using now a Realforce TKL R3 45g and it is hard to type in low light, a set of high contrast keycaps can help, eg URSA classic. I am certainly fascinated by the topre switches compared to Niz and regular MX ones.
