How much is *too* much for a 3D printer?

If I understand you correctly, you want to buy a printer before you know how well your models sell? Why not the other way round? There are 3D printing providers, who have all, the knowledge, machines, scalability and most importantly, everything else that is needed to finish the models. Print a few

Looking to replace my current printers. Need input from professionals

Yeah Anycubic long term support is ass. I own an M3 Premium and they ended support for them almost 2 years ago, yet I can still order parts (other than LCDs) for my Saturn 2s from Elegoo... which are the same age as the M3 Premium. Heygears is supposed to open up some of their settings later this ye

What printers are everyone using?

Like most things I spend a few months going back and forth before making a decision. I looked at them after seeing Fauxhammers videos on YouTube. That was back when they released the original Reflex. What made me not buy it was the cost and given that I didn’t do much or enjoy resin printing with th

For the exaclty same price: M7 Pro or Saturn 4 Ultra 16K

Anycubic has the worst QC in the industry right now. If you like playing the lottery and losing, but the Anycubic. I’m surprised you have had a good experience with customer service as they also have the worst customer experience I know of. Long term parts support is also non-existent. That said, th

First Printer (is HeyGears bad?)

You are going to get a million opinions here. But your budget will dictate everything. Take into account all the extras you have to buy too. My personal experience, when I was in your same position a few months ago I decided to go with the Heygears Reflex RS. I went with the Heygears because I did n

Printer recommendations

I have owned several resin printers: Monoprice MiniSLA Peopoly Phenom (very briefly) Formlabs Form2 Saturn 4 Ultra And now the HeyGears Reflex RS. The Reflex is the most reliable, hassle free machine out of all of them and delivers phenomenal prints each time.

Mars 5 Ultra vs HeyGears

For me, the Heygears Reflex RS has been a plug-and-play experience without any significant issues, outside of user error (e.g. made the supports too weak). After making sure the printer itself is level trough the onscreen indicators, you're basically ready to print. If you just want a printer that d

What are the Best 3d printers at different price points?

Heygears Reflex RS Turbo. If minis are your main goal, resin is the way to go and Heygears has a no bs experience; self leveling, no need to know any settings or values, just import models, add supports, slice, send to printer and print. You dont need to use their resin, you can use third party like

heygears + elegoo curing? (and which heygears to get?)

Let's take it step by step. I've had a Reflex RS Turbo for a couple of months now, so I can guide you. - The Elegoo curing station will work fine for you. I opted for the Anycubic Wash & Cure 3 Plus with an extra tray. I don't regret anything, considering the goosenose and the price. - For the VAT,

Is it time to upgrade from a Mars 2 pro?

Not much difference from a Mars 2 Pro to current machines. Without much detail, I’d say user errors, most of resin printing is affected by 2 things; 1) exposure calibration (and to some extent other settings, but there are some conservative values you can use), and 2) supports. Supports are typicall
