Looking to replace my current printers. Need input from professionals
Yeah Anycubic long term support is ass. I own an M3 Premium and they ended support for them almost 2 years ago, yet I can still order parts (other than LCDs) for my Saturn 2s from Elegoo... which are the same age as the M3 Premium. Heygears is supposed to open up some of their settings later this ye

How much has print quality increased over the last few years?
Print resolution took a pretty big leap once we got under 0.03mm/30um pixel size (Saturn 2/8K generation). It's been pretty diminishing returns since then. I own a Mars 2 Pro, and with tuning it can still compete on print smoothness, but it won't render the small texture details that higher resoluti

Printer advice
Anycubic is a non-starter imho. Poor support, poor QC (and the bar is low as is), and no per layer wait times. Elegoo is the best of the budget tier. The Saturn 3 non-Ultra is probably the best bang for your buck printer available right now, if it’s available in your region. At the high end sits the

Anycubic M7 or Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra?
Anycubics are a larger gamble in terms of QC than Elegoo. A lot of M7s come with concave plates. On top of that, Anycubics can't use per layer wait times, so they have even more trouble with adhesion than other auto-leveling printers, especially with low cure depth resins (light colored/high detail)

Suggestions for next printer?
If the Saturn 3 (non-Ultra) is available to you, it's the best bang for your buck and last of the non auto-leveling printers worth buying. Usually less than $270. Heygears is running a sale on the Reflex RS for $499, which is the lowest that printer has ever been. It's probably the only auto-levelin

Mid-Sized Resin Printer Recommendation
Reflex RS turbo 100%. It far and away outperforms the others. And you can use non-Heygears resin in it with fantastic results. You won’t regret it I own two Saturn 4 ultra 16k’s and they’re also great machines. But it’s no contest the heygears gives noticeably better results. It’s a better overall b

Printer recommendations on 2026?
See if the Heygears Reflex RS Turbo with the heated VAT fits your budget. It's a lot better than Uniform or Elegoo printers. There is a good sale on now, they just opened up to third party resins (could always use them but not adjust exposure settings or anything) Might be a little more but absolute

Printer recommendations on 2026?
Heygears have a confusing naming scheme but to put it simply: The Reflex line is better for engineering and is compatible with more of the engineering resins. The Reflex RS line is more for miniatures and hobby stuff. Uses standard resins and is not compatible with the more expensive engineering res

Printer recommendations on 2026?
No problem! I realized I accidentally said Reflex in the first post when I meant Reflex RS so my bad, edited to correct it to avoid confusion. This printer at its price point is a godsend and its insanely reliable. I have 3k hours, haven't had to replace the screen yet and have had seriously zero fa

Brand new Saturn 4 ultra 16k, would you accept this?
Top of the market right now is a heygears reflex RS turbo. Twice the price of the s4U16k tho Coming up strong is the Anycubic P1/P1 Max. The dual vat gimmick was just for dental offices. But it’s proving to be very capable and strong showing for best new machine if 26’
