ADHD office chair
That sounds like you’re looking for a Herman Miller Aeron! I have one as well and I love the smooth spin plus the bouncing. You can also get them cheaper second hand since they start at about 1.5k.It’s pricey but also worth the price since the quality is really good and you can keep it forever (plus

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie?
I never knew Herman Miller chairs were a thing until this happened.... Four years ago, not long after I started WFH, my jenky office chair broke and couldn't be repaired. I went to Goodwill that night hoping to find a cheap replacement until I could afford to buy a good quality chair. The store happ

Places to buy office chairs other than office Depot and staples?
I got a basically brand new Herman Miller Mirra 2 from NWC Office Furniture for like $250. They are a liquidator and there is a ton of high quality stuff if you want a proper, ergonomic, office chair that will last forever.

I had an issue with my Mirra 2 maybe ~7 years into owning it. The mesh of the seat could no longer support someone sitting on it, so you couldn't use it. I filed a warranty claim through Herman Miller with a local shop. Within a week they sent someone out to my house to fix it and I didn't pay a cen

how would you spend $1000?
Chair. I would get the Mirra 2 from Herman Miller. I used one when I worked in a call center and they Iet me borrow it when I worked from home during the pandemic lockdowns. I could spend my whole 8 hour shift my it and then maybe an hour or two doing my own things at my desk. It was amazing. I've g

How do you guys maintain correct posture for hours ?
Mirra, but it’s still Herman Miller and still not “cheap”. There’s not really a good reason to go elsewhere, imo. Buy from National Office Interiors, you get a good quality used chair for about 1/2 off new, I’ve bought two HM Mirra chairs that way. You spend how long sitting each day? $500 for somet

The essential aspects of my setup that make my life so much better are; Herman Miller Mirra 2 Chair. Expensive and worth every cent I’ve had mine for 13yrs and it still

Office Chair Advice
If you can get one, get a Herman miller aeron. Thats the primo chair, but the price tag reflects that as new it is 3k from what I’ve heard. The mirra are the more affordable models, but definitely still work wonders! Another thing that overall helped my pain was getting an economic mouse and low pro
