How do you deal with the toll this takes on your body?
I had a Herman Miller Aeron for awhile and had a hunch it was making things worse. Leg pain, back pain. Finally said screw it and tried a Steelcase Gesture and oh my god it was like night and day. Maybe try to switch it up. You have the cash and there is no better investment than in things between y

Is this gap "within tolerance" for a $2,400 Anthros chair? Would you be ok with this?
Comparing Anthros to Herman Miller is apples and oranges. HM is fully design-focused. I expect their products to have the high-end design aesthetics and tight production tolerances befitting their history and reputation, while also being ergonomic in the case of office chairs (though I absolutely ha

Secretlabs sent me someone else’s returned product. All parts missing. Chair stinks
You're better off putting the exact same money toward an ergonomic chair, brother. SecretLabs is a shady fuckin company. I had a Secretlabs Titan XL for a year. Stiff as a rock no matter what, and the shape of the chair will severely fuck your lower back because there's barely any supporting materia

Priorities are perfectly straight. Who needs a bed when you have an RTX 4090?
There are other chairs besides HM that are ergonomic and comfortable that don't cost 800 dollars. Just cause you sat in some 50-200 dollar regular ikea chairs or office chairs that suck doesn't mean you needed a Herman Miller aeron God ya'll are so insufferable. First people tried to convince everyo

Looking for a new chair.
Herman Miller Embody. I used Aerons for years and found that the hard lip at the front of the seat pan was really fucking with my hamstrings. You can find new HM on discount, if you have a DWR outlet near you. 1000% yes on a standing desk.

Best Chair Attributes you look for as an Editor
Herman Miller Embody is what I have at home. We have Aerons at work and two at home, but I swapped to the Embody. The Aerons completely fucked up my hamstrings with the hard front lip and yes, I am sized correctly. One thing that I would suggest, is to focus on your body mechanics. This will help yo

The Lord of the Rings gaming chairs are here: real photos and details of each model
But not all cases are the same. I also own a Herman Miller Aeron and a Haworth Fern, but I've also been using a fabric Titan Evo since 2020 and have put many hours into it. Every anatomy is different, but everyone I know who owns a "gaming" chair has had them for years. You can't generalize, and I'm

Best Office Chair Brand Right Now In 2026?
Kinda? Honestly I kind of see them on a spectrum where Herman Miller’s offerings are much more hit-or-miss depending on body size/weight and design philosophy, and Steelcase and Haworth’s designs are a bit less out there but definitely have more widespread ergonomic appeal. 9 times out of ten I’m on

Switched from a gaming chair to an office chair — honest 6-month review
I hate my aeron. Gave in to all the hype. The only good thing about it is the mesh. I also have a secret lab chair and an ikea Marcus. The bad thing about those two is they are not as well ventilated like the aeron. Comfort wise I'd pick any of them over the herman miller. The tight hard plastic of

Best time to buy Aeron chair
Does it have to be a Herman Miller chair or an office chair that has back adjustability? Aeron's are sort of a specific chair as with it's mesh back and mesh chair, you have to sit in a certain position in order to work. I have a Haworth Fern right now and it's really good for my back.
