Yes, be a skeptic. If your back is in pain, then book a session with a physical therapist to learn mobility and strengthening exercises and stretches. You’ll probably need to do them for the rest of your life. Break bad habits. Spend the money on a better desk—for crafting, an adjustable desk so you

Honestly, don’t do this to yourself by following that plan. If you’re constantly sitting like that, it can negatively affect your hip flexor, it tends to shorten over time. This muscle runs from the inside of your thigh all the way up to your lumbar spine. When it gradually shortens from sitting in a

Not overrated at all - rather the opposite. There are several benefits of having a standing desk: Afternoon energy slump? -> Stand up Changing from sitting to standing also allows your back to get some relief Some tasks are somehow easier when you stand, like presentations For the ultimate experienc

Maybe look at HAG Capisco? I end up sitting similarly to the second photo a lot of the afternoon. They’re not cheap and a bit weird, but it’s like my glass slipper after trying the best of the conventional chairs and super weird yoga-ish stuff.
