The price is high, but yes the screen is absolutely worth it. Imagine paying ~$2500 for something like a top performing GPD Win5 for an LCD screen, lmao. Any of the modern x86 pc handhelds with Z1E chip or better inside work well instead of the Steam Deck. You can put SteamOS or Bazzite for steamdeck like behavior on all or most of them. So real debate is size, weight, ergonomics, screen size, budget, etc. Its all rather personal in the hand and eye.
