I second this after my Hero 10 Black just died after 3 years of mostly indoor use. Granted stuff pre Hero 10 is supposedly not as bad.

I still like my Gopro Hero 2 but that is obviously an ancient camera. I have a Hero 10 Black that took good footage but had overheating issues and recently died. People really like DJI as you see in the comments and elsewhere but my gripe is the camera requires an app to activate it before you can u
