Hey everyone. I am struggling to get good connection through my home and was hoping anyone had some advice. For context I live in a 1200 sqft 2-bedroom apartment.
I have 1GB plan through google webpass, the fiber runs into the master bedroom where I have connected to a Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E. Tha

First Time Networking
So I decided to take a big leap and network my home and it has been pretty fun. Waiting for an enclosure to arrive and a few more things. Here are some things I learned.
Tools: I first started out with some generic crimper from Microcenter cause it was there and available so I gave it a chance but

Google Nest WiFi Pro 3rd generation is slower than 2nd generation
I had the nest pro for a couple of years. Frontier sent me an eero 7 pro and I have a 2800sq ft 2 story. It's on the bottom floor in an office and my speed and network stability have been solid since I put it in last week. I had google wifi before the nest and I always liked the idea of the mesh but

Anyway to customize names for specific bands with Nest Wifi Pro?
I have some Nest Wifi Pro 6E (oval-shaped routers) I got a few months ago when I signed up for Google Fiber. However, there's no way in the Google Home app I can tell to set the 5G band to have a different name than the 2.4G band. I wish there was because my devices keep using 2.4G which is much slo

Nest Wifi Pro Issues
Similar boat here. I have 4 in a two story house (classic English house). For whatever reason the Main Router Nest WiFi Pro 6E (first floor) doesn’t talk well with literally the next room (kitchen) parted from a drywall. The one in the kitchen keeps getting disconnected.

Wi-Fi Mesh Help!
Hey everyone, I recently purchased and installed a Google Nest Wifi Pro 6E in my three-story home. My roommates and I purchased a gigabit internet plan with AT&T Fiber. With my current setup, I have the main Google Nest router in my closet in the basement and it's connected to the ISP modem/router.

Advise for bad network connection?
Hey everyone, I will disclose I am pretty bad when it comes to tech, but I can not get my HomeOffice/spare bedroom to have decent connection. I live in a ~1200 sqft 2 bedroom apt, I get my internet through google web pass and my plan is for 1GB down.
My current set up consists of 2 Google Nest Wif

Recommendations for a mesh system addition or a new system altogether
Hi everyone.
I currently have a TP-Link Archer AX53 and will be moving house soon. I'll need more coverage so I was looking at one of 2 options:
- Get an access point(/router?) which will be wired to my current AX53. Essential that this be a mesh network and not an extender. I'm not sure what will w

Intermittent Wi-Fi disconnects on laptops only - anyone else experiencing this?
Hey Google Fiber community,
I've been experiencing some strange Wi-Fi issues lately and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered something similar. Here's what's happening:
- My Apple laptop randomly loses Wi-Fi connectivity
- When this happens, other devices like phones remain connected

My Google nests wifi has increasingly gotten terrible over these past weeks, its strength has slowly decreased to the point where I can’t even use anything, I tried to download something on my laptop for 300mb and it said it would take 4 hours 4 HOURS!
