Glorious is a "gamerbro" company and charge way over the line for what you get. The Monsgeek M1 v5 VIA is kind of "best in class" for a consumer 75% aluminum board. I would unconditionally pick that over a GMMK anything.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of those choices. I think you can pretty much condense the question down to whether you want a gimmicky screen or not. not really much u can do fix wise other than try and replace the plate sounds like poor tolerances on the plate ( semi common for gmmk )

I want to build my own keyboard and I initially landed on starting with the GMMK Pro barebones as it has ISO layout, but now I've read that while it was great when it came out, now it is just a mediocre option, are there any better ISO boards now in the 75% or 80% layouts? What are some good options
