Extra silent switch advice for a hypermobile girly!

Autistic girlies unite! So happy to hear someone else understands that when I say silent I mean fully, fully silent ❤️ Oh yeah, my GMMK 2 is definitely not as quiet as it could be, no o-rings, I don't think my switches are lubed, the keyboard itself is definitely not made to be silent, all that stuff

Glorious GMMK 2 full size barebone

Not a very good buy at all, what's your budget? GMMK materials are not very well produced and the stabilizers suck, plus the firmware is pretty unreliable compared to qmk/via

monsgeek m1 v5 vs gmmk 2

Glorious is a "gamerbro" company and charge way over the line for what you get. The Monsgeek M1 v5 VIA is kind of "best in class" for a consumer 75% aluminum board. I would unconditionally pick that over a GMMK anything.

I'm new, why does GMMK get so much hate?

'Better' is really subjective. The GMMK 2 has a compacted layout with a shortened zero on the numpad and no navigation keys beyond the cursors. That might be a deal-breaker for some. The GMMK 3 has a more conventional layout with the addition of a knob. You can get an HE variant of the GMMK 3 too, w

Buying new keyboard

GMMK is kind of overpriced and mediocre, not even QMK (by default, there is third party QMK firmware for some models but dang). 75% with knob: Monsgeek M1 v5 * ($80 barebones) Akko 5075B VIA * ($60 barebones) Royal Kludge RK R75 QMK/VIA * ($51 with coupon) Womier Q75 ($59) Womier Era75 ($63) Yunzii AL

Another UK/ISO hot-swap recommendation post (sorry 😅)

There's really no limit to what you can spend - keyboards are a surprisingly deep rabbit hole. I don't really like to promote something of my own, but I made a video demonstrating this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trvGM4dEKVQ Right, let's do this... For quite a long time, the only way to get a me

GMMK 2 on Mac help

Hey there, Thanks for giving the GMMK 2 a try! :) That is correct, our MacOS version of CORE is currently quite buggy - there are plans to release important updates down the line, but there are currently no ETAs. Fortunately, the GMMK 2 has onboard memory, which means that you can download Legacy CO

What is wrong with my space bar?

Clip ins. You may have misaligned while taking apart. The bar should be on the north side under the pcb, not affected by switch (or tape since you did that mod) or bent at all. You can cut/remove the tape (don't cut the pcb) around the bar too. Glorious boards have a habit of sticking as they're too

Gmmk 3 pro he (barebone) review

ohhhh that one is HE, then I mixed that up for sureI remember GMMK mechanical PCB + case being really popular in 2019 up until 2023 or something, at least it felt like that long. Through that period of time there still were a lot of people talking about it and buying it. For me that always seemed li

Looking for a full size keyboard for gaming and work for around $200.

i was so sad about my keychron q6. after 3 months of heavy use many of the keys did not work at all or just horribly unreliable. i’m back on my cheap little RK96 until my GMMK comes in
