UniFi travel router

There are always competitor products with similar/better feature sets. If you're happy using a GL.iNet travel router of your choice, great, power to you. I was personally disappointed with my Mudi V2 despite leveraging all of its features; it was painfully slow to boot, unreliable, carrying the ethe

Work in progress

Nice! Edit: But, I would have planned more personally though. For one, the router doesn't need to be that big. I am currently running everything off of one of GL iNet's travel routers. Try installing NetShare on Android and setting it up. I needed this on a ferry in the Adriatic recently, ju

What’s the best purchase you’ve made for remote work?

Tried the GL.iNet travel router for two years. The promise is great but I spent more time configuring it in hotel networks than actually using it. Ended up just tethering off my phone and accepting the slower speed.

UTR (Travel Router) – Real-World Speed Tests, thoughts and Firmware issues!

I also use a GL.iNet travel router and see the UTR as a complementary product rather than a replacement. It’ll likely become my daily carry (coffee shops, daily working, train plane etc), with the GL.iNet staying as a more configurable longer term travel router (think hotel room with the family). Th
