Remote hardware debugging is a pain. If it does need replaced and if you are only using it as a Wireguard server, you could use a GL iNet Brume, or about any small PC running Linux. Hardware question: USB-C powered router?

What about GL.iNet GL-AR300M16? Cheap. Micro USB powered. Can run current OpenWRT. You need to install Luci with the factory GUI, then you can just flash the current OpenWRT sysupgrade .bin. Ignore the warning, it works fine. Did 7 of those like that two weeks ago.
