Asus unveils the ROG Swift PG27UCWM monitor with a 27" 4K Tandem WOLED panel and RGB-stripe pixel layout
Gigabyte slaps their annoying Aorus logo on the front. No, check out the Gigabyte MO27Q28GR (1440p glossy tandem WOLED, uses the same panel as the Asus XG27AQWMG). It looks very clean, no RGB lights, and no branding on the front. All their latest OLED monitors follow this design language.

Gaming PC
Here's a build using Microcenter's 7800X3D bundle for $2458.16. I've picked an AMD RX 9070XT, as it's much cheaper than the comparable RTX 5070Ti. If you want a faster GPU, the 5080 is 20% faster on average (more if you use Ray tracing and decisively better for Path Tracing), but it currently costs

Panel choice 1440p VS 4K for 9070XT - NO BUDGET
I went with a 4k monitor at first for my 9070xt and i was pretty ok with it. But I was lacking a little performance and felt reliant on upscalers which was fine. But still felt a little underwhelmed for the money I spent. But then there was a good price on one of the new 1440p tandem oled screens (t

Where to buy Gigabyte MO27Q28GR (glossy tandem OLED) in Australia?
I'm in AU as well and have been looking to buy this monitor too. I'd prefer the MO27Q28GR over the XG27AQWMG as its $300 AUD cheaper, but won't ever release for some reason... The AORUS/Gigabyte AU/NZ pages have posted about it on their twitter and instagram, but no availability in any retailers in

Should I get the XG27AQWMG tandem oled monitor or would you recommend something else to avoid near-black gray banding? For lighting, I play in mixed conditions that’s why I thought woled would better?
Go for it or get the Gigabyte version (mo27q28gr). The vertical banding is a panel lottery issue. if you find it bad, use the monitor for a few hours/days and run a few pixel cleaning. It usually gets better. Also, I've seen reports of people who fixed the banding by lowering the refresh rate to 240
