If it's mostly for gaming and you can relatively comfortably afford it, go OLED. (especially if it's a new tandem woled with 1500-ish nits max. brightness) I had a 27" 1440p matte miniled IPS (GP27Q) that died to a power outage, so I switched to a 32" 4K glossy OLED (3rd gen qd-oled, FO32U2) thanks

Did exactly the same thing. I am currently going to a Pulsar monitor to see what the buzz around pulsar tech is all about. I still daily use my FO32U2. I am very susceptible to motion blur and I am tired of compensating for the sample and hold of Oled Tech. I actually game most of the time on my TC-

I highly recommend switching to OLED. I previously used a 34" Samsung Viewfinity S6 Ultrawide. While this is a decent monitor, switching to the Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2 is just a night-and-day difference, especially for night scenes. Here is why: • Blacks, this is not only GFN related but in general. T

It's definitely the FO32U2, I double-checked the box and specs lol. But creating a post on RTINGS is a good idea, thanks for the suggestion. I took those photos while the screen was at 95% gray. The photos look much worse than reality because my phone camera overexposes the screen and adds a weird t

Try updating the firmware first. And make sure the driver for the monitor is installed. The provided SDR profile is optional but recommended if you use SDR. When you use ddu it removes the defaults in color management as well as the monitor driver for some reason. Also make sure you’re in the right

I run 5090/9800X3D/64gb DDR5 with 3x Gigabyte FO32U2 4K/32”, and an additional MSI 271QPX E2 2K/27” up top for telemetry. Had to turn down some settings to medium/high and use FSR, but still get ~100fps. It does dip below 100 during race starts, rain, night but I find it to be completely playable.

Old gamer here. For your budget I would recommend an RTX 5080 graphics card which will cost between $999 and $1299 paired with a 32" QD-OLED 4K display. The OLED will cost you between $899 and $1299. You could go with an RTX 5090 but it's going to use most of your budget and there won't be anything

I’d like to check my understanding. I think I’d like OLED. I think this would limit me to 120 Hz unless I use 1440p with DLSS – is that correct? No benefit to having more than 165Hz? DP 2.1 would enable this without DLSS but at a cost. I think that’s right… Gigabyte FO32U2 (240Hz) is ok? The 165Hz F

you cant stand blooming and gray color instead of black yet you have a regular lcd display? how does that work. As I've mentioned in the post, I also own OLED displays. My gaming display is the FO32U2 4K 240Hz QD-OLED. Acer IPS is a secondary display.
